Ron Paul’s Foreign Policy: A Ticking Time Bomb…
While the mainstream news is trying to find new ways to talk 24-7 about the Iowa caucus tonight, Iran is toying with and provoking the United States Navy for war. For the past two weeks Iran has been showing off their military might as Ahmadenijad watches reruns of his ‘’I am a descendent of Mohammed’’ speech. The problem is that he isn’t joking and America better start taking him seriously or gas masks will be a requirement in America before burkas.
In the last two weeks Iran has implemented a series of drills over the Strait of Hormuz and even shut it down for five hours. The Strait is about thirty miles wide and is the pathway for 20% of the world’s oil. It’s the only sea passage to the ocean for the Persian Gulf. While lounging LL Cool J style on the sands of Honolulu, with his mai tai in one hand and ‘’Rules for Radicals” in the other, Barack Obama gave the okay to sanction Iran’s central bank a few days ago. Iran had previously warned America that if these particular sanctions were implemented they would consider it an ‘’act of war.” They are now provoking our Navy carrier in the Gulf telling them they better leave or else…
It isn’t a matter of ‘’if’’ Iran strikes or Iran is struck, it’s a matter of ‘’when.” War is inevitable and if America even has elections in ten months (that is if Obama hasn’t yet declared Martial Law which would halt all elections), we better make sure we elect someone who has an illuminated defense light bulb in their brain. There is one candidate out of all the Republicans who doesn’t and that’s Ron Paul. His is more like a lava lamp and he is the most dangerous person to have at the helm while the world is on the verge of major war.
The threat Iran poses is real and Americans must realize the difference between the threats Ahmadenijad is making and the threats someone like Kim Jong Un make. Don’t get me wrong, Kim Jong Un poses a major threat too but not in the way Ahmadenijad does. The threat from Iran differentiates itself from threats we have seen before. It doesn’t stem from a leader wanting to implement communism throughout the world. It doesn’t stem from the fight over oil. This threat is a threat based on a man who believes he is doing the will of his God (Allah) and that he was purposefully put here by his God to implement world chaos. He will not stop until this so-called mission is accomplished. That is what makes the Iranian threat real.
In a simplistic nutshell: Ahmadenijad believes that he is a descendent of Mohammed and that Allah has chosen him for the job of ushering in the Mahdi (the Messiah of the Muslims). In order to do this there must be complete world chaos or else the Mahdi will not return. We know that Muslims will run commercial planes into towers diminishing them from the city skyline for their God. We know they will send their bomb-strapped children into Jewish crowds and push the explode button. We know they will cross the Gaza strip and ruthlessly murder a Jewish family including slicing the throat of a three month old sleeping infant. Anyone who thinks Ahmadenijad isn’t a threat has either been attending a church that is part of the deception ridden Emergent Church (Rick Warren, Rob Bell, Joel Olsteen etc) or they have had their heads buried in the sands of Honolulu. This is why I have said from the very beginning that we must elect a leader that has discernment, who actually reads the Bible and doesn’t consider daily devotions on a Blackberry sufficient knowledge of the Word of God.
There are a couple points where I agree with Ron Paul concerning national security. He is right on when he says the United States shouldn’t police the world. He’s absolutely right when he says that the United States shouldn’t be giving money to other nations, especially those nations that are hostile towards us. It’s like giving a robber money to buy a gun knowing they will probably use it on you when they invade your home! Regardless of why a certain decision was made when it was, the fact is that we actually have armed many of our enemies. Look back to the time when we gave the Taliban weapons to fight against the Soviets. Now they use those weapons against us. We helped Saddam acquire chemical weapons that he turned around and used on the Kurds. The United States supported the ousting of the Sha in Iran and now look at Iran’s leadership! The Obama administration sold the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt 125 Abram’s Tanks. That’s going to turn out well for our ally Israel! We have known for years the threat North Korea imposes. We also know the threat Hugo Chavez of Venezuela poses as they continue to receive weapons from Iran. Oh, and China too. So yes, America we have ourselves in quite a predicament. Now the question is what do we do about the situation we find ourselves in? This is where Ron Paul falls off the defense wagon.
In Ron Paul la la land, if we leave the Muslims alone they will leave us alone. He believes that America has caused all the violence carried out by the Muslims. He thinks if we play nice, they will play nice. He believes if we take our troops out from all over the world we will finally see world peace. Maybe he should try out for Mr. America not the President of America…He is absolutely wrong. This is why Ron Paul is dangerous. He doesn’t see what’s unique about the Iranian threat. He doesn’t see the religious aspect of the Muslim threat. He doesn’t understand the extent virgin craving Muslims will go to. He doesn’t understand that Mohammed’s final message in Medina was no longer the peaceful message he preached in Mecca. He doesn’t understand the god of the Muslim’s told them to kill those who wouldn’t convert. He has no clue about the Hadith. He has no clue what this entire battle is; good vs. evil.
The Muslim threat isn’t going to go away simply because America becomes isolationist. It’s too bad Ron Paul is so wrong on defending America because he’s so right on the economy. He’s one hundred percent right when he speaks about the federal government trampling on the Constitutional rights of American citizens. He is one hundred percent correct when he talks about ending the fed. He is one hundred percent right when he speaks of newly enacted federal laws which infringe upon state’s rights. However, he is wrong on national security and as I have always said, national security must always come first! He would be great person to have in office in monetary position of some sort or a watch dog for unconstitutional goings on within the government. But he shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near foreign relations in the same way Kim Kardashian shouldn’t be allowed near a wedding chapel.
Do I believe a politician is going to ‘save’ us? Absolutely not. I put my faith in Christ and Christ alone. I know the times we are living in. However, in the meantime, it would be nice to have a leader who understands the times too and not someone who will put us in a highly naïve and vulnerable position. As I’ve said, there is a very long time before elections and every day Iran is increasing their threats and actions. There is a very good possibility that war could break out any day and that Barack Obama could declare Martial Law thus, we would have no election. However, we must prepare ourselves spiritually and mentally of the scenario that will come. This is why I stress the importance that if elections do go as planned we better elect someone who understands the situation. In the last debate Michele Bachmann was the only person to bring up the religious aspect of the Iranian threat. She spoke of the Khalif (Islam’s leader which they haven’t had since 1929. This is the Mahdi who Ahmadenijad is trying to bring back). Bachmann sits on the intelligence committee and tries her best to warn us this threat is real and it’s imminent. She’s right. The threat is real. It is a threat that someday will no longer be just a threat but one day we will awake to news of war with Iran and I pray that whoever is the Commander in Chief of the United States will not allow hundreds of thousands of American’s to die before pushing our own defense button. So when you hear Ron Paul say Ahmadenijad isn’t a threat, remember; Chamberlain said Hitler wasn’t a threat …
